Jay Brotman, Partner at Svigals + Partners, has more than 30 years of experience in the planning and design of educational facilities. He is currently Partner-in-Charge of the new Sandy Hook School in Newtown, CT, where he has been exploring the balance between security and the desire to create an open and inviting public facility.
